Napster Light is a music store with no monthly membership
fee. Search and browse 30-second music clips and buy your
favourite music to burn to CD or transfer to a compatible
MP3 player.

What happens to the music I downloaded to my PC if I cancel
my Membership?
If you cancel your Membership, the music you downloaded from
Napster will no longer be playable at the end of your
current billing period. You can still use Napster Light to
play and organise all of the music you own without a
membership fee. Access Napster Light with the same user name
and password. With Napster Light, you can also sample
30-second clips and buy tracks for 79p and albums from
£7.95. If you decide to resume your Napster Membership, your
Napster music library will be restored and your downloaded
music will be playable again.

Which MP3 players are compatible with Napster, Napster To
Go and Napster Light?
Napster and Napster Light are compatible with over 75 MP3
players. Napster To Go works with select players from iriver,
Creative, Dell, Samsung, Gateway and others.

What if I just want to buy songs or albums to burn to CD or
transfer to a compatible MP3 player?
You can always use Napster Light, Napster's 79p music store,
to purchase tracks for 79p and albums from £7.95. Once
purchased, you can keep this music on your PC forever, burn
it to CD or transfer to a compatible MP3 player. You can get
Napster Light when you download and register for Napster.
Napster and Napster To Go members can also purchase songs
for as low as 68p each with Napster Track Packs.
9.
What can I do with music I buy on Napster?
The songs and albums you buy are yours to keep forever. You
can burn an individual song as many times as you like and
the same songlist up to 7 times. You can copy your music to
3 computers, and transfer it to a compatible MP3 player an
unlimited number of times.
10. How
can I use Napster on multiple PCs?
You can access your Napster Membership on up to 3 PCs. Just
go to Napster.com and click on "Members: Download Again" to
install the Napster software on a new PC. You can also put
your same Napster Library on all 3 PCs using Napster's Copy
Library function.
11. Do
I need a credit card to use Napster?
Billing information from your credit card or PayPal account
is required to take a free trial of Napster or Napster To
Go. As an alternative, you can also purchase a range of
Napster pre-paid music download or Membership cards using
cash, at branches of Dixons, The Link, PC World & Currys.
You can also purchase Napster Music Vouchers from your local
Post Office. Napster Light does not require a credit card or
Paypal account to register.

The Napster music that is downloaded to your computer is in
Window Media Audio (WMA) format at 128 Kbps stereo. We use
